Application & Properties:
welding electrodes AWS SFA 5.1 : E 7024, High-efficiency electrode having a weld metal recovery of approx. 165%. High melt-off rates, short welding times and long welds to be achieved, guarantee the economical execution of fillet welds. In welding, the tip of the electrode is dragged on the work, thus producing optimum-shaped concave fillets. It is suited for welding primer painted plates. Very good arc striking and restriking. Clean and smooth welds blending into base metal without undercuts. With proper current setting, slag is self releasing.
